The Colors of Us
In this activity we attempt to tackle something that can be truly hard to talk about. In fact, that is the precise reason why we are taking it on.
Yup, we are talking about race. Too young? We don’t think so. As a matter of fact, studies show that it is never too early to talk about race and that the earlier you start, the more compassionate our kids will be. We deeply believe that we must model for our kids and each other who we want them to be in this world.
When we talk about talking about racism and anti-racism, we’re talking about acceptance of not only others but also ourselves. We’re talking about embracing differences, about seeing ourselves and others as different and unique, and also…the same.
